Perfect size for our kitchen where you can easily visible from any angle over the dining table. We left the window open while on vacation, and a squirrel got in and accidentally broke the hands. I contacted the manufacturer and explained the situation, and they agreed to send me a replacement, and it's been working flawlessly ever since. I highly recommend this clock and its customer service company. I wish all brands had such excellent customer service.

The directions explain that alkaline batteries can hurt the clock's mechanism; thus, I did have to make a run to the dollar store to get the carbon zinc AA batteries used for low drain devices.
